Music on the Murray is held bi-annually at Waikerie on their spectacular riverfront, and on April 28th and 29th, 2007 the river will come alive with the sounds of world-class entertainment. Waikerie is located on the banks of the River Murray in South Australia's Riverland Region.

The Music on the Murray Festival encompasses a celebration of the River Murray through music and artistic collaboration. The festival includes 'the culture of the River Murray' River Murray Art Show which includes the River Murray Art Prize, a Sunday Family Fun Day and the jewel in the crown Saturday night performance of Music on the Murray.

The Waikerie Hotel-Motel has again added its corporate support to the event as proud Major Sponsor of the festival.

World-renowned Performers Pot-Pourri headline this years entertainment, combining their unique talents with Artistic Director Timothy Sexton, to bring together a spectacular program for patrons. The Adelaide Art Orchestra will accompany the program with the Adelaide Philharmonic Choir and The Riverland Choirs combining to form a 200 voice choir for the musical experience.

Ticklish Allsorts will perform at the Family Fun Day and bring a world of interactive music and dance for all ages. With their original contemporary songs in a variety of styles there is never a dull moment in this energetic performance.
